Hiking

Thousands of miles of trails throughout Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks offer escapes into the wild for every ability level. From scenic hikes into the Grand Tetons to full-day excursions into Yellowstone, expect to see wildlife and experience the serenity only nature can offer. We offer complimentary pepper spray for guests. (Our guests have never had a bad experience, but it is smart to be always be "bear aware.")

Float Trips & Rafting

An icon of the West, the Snake River stretches across the foot of the Teton Mountains and through the valley. The 10-mile scenic float offers breathtaking views of the mountains, not to mention bald eagles, moose, otters, beavers and a whole host of other "locals." Seeking an adrenaline rush? Whitewater trips cover class 3 rapids through the Snake River Canyon. Just plan to get wet.

Fishing

Jackson Hole is a destination for anglers of every level. The valley's lakes and rivers are fed by runoff from the surrounding mountains. Generally, the Snake River and Buffalo Fork "turn on" for trout fishing in mid-July and fish well through September, while smaller upstream creeks and tributaries become active earlier in the summer. Teton Cabins is located 10 miles from Jackson Lake, which offers boat and shore fishing. Please contact us for fishing guide recommendations.

What to Explore
JENNY Lake
A glacial lake at the foot of the Grand Teton, Jenny Lake and the surrounding sagebrush flats attract all kinds of animals, from elk and moose to grizzly and black bears. Hiking trails offer access into the vast Teton wilderness, including Inspiration Point, which provides stunning valley-wide views.

Tucked just inside the entrance to Grand Teton National Park, this meandering offshoot of the Snake River is home to a surprising diversity of wildlife. A bird watcher's paradise, the stretch of water is frequented by bald eagles, osprey and trumpeter swans — not to mention, beavers, otters, bears and moose.
Mormon Row
The historic Mormon Row on Antelope Flats was one of the first settlements in Jackson Hole. Today, visitors can expect to see bison, antelope, coyotes, and birds of prey alongside the iconic structures, which are the most photographed barns in the world.

The nation's first national park, Yellowstone’s geological features are unlike anywhere else on earth. The Park has about 10,000 thermal features, including more than 300 geysers and 290 waterfalls.

The Jackson Hole Rodeo exhibits the true spirit of the West with calf roping, barrel racing, bull riding, and kids’ events. You’ll find all this and more every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. Dust off your boots, grab a cold one and experience a tradition as old as the West itself.
Town Square
The “Town Square” was once where ranchers came to stock up on supplies and hear the latest news from around the valley at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. And it still is.

Today, the Town Square is home to local shops, dining and nightlife. After a day in the mountains, unwind with a meal at any one of the valley's celebrated restaurants and belly up at the Silver Dollar or Cowboy Bar, where local folklore flows as easy as the local brews.
